#1 Most GEB111 and GEB121 battery packs that are replaced with off-the-shelf camcorder batteries will not work properly with the LEICA battery charger. The temperature protection devices inside the after-market packs may not be compatible with the LEICA charger and cause the battery not to charge properly and severely shorten its life-span. It is always best to rebuild the original LEICA packs using the original temperature devices.

#2 Most rec modules have now reached the age where both data and software batteries need to be replaced. When the software battery goes dead, all programming is lost and module will no longer communicate with the equipment...even if the data battery is replaced. If your instrument is giving an "Error 76", unfortunately this is an issue we have not yet been able to correct and you should not send us modules with this error.

#3 We have tested many after-market Li-Ion battery packs. None that we have found has ever been able to perform battery than 80% of their rated capacity. Our SAMSUNG cells perform to 105% of rated capacity. You get what you pay for!
