Quality of cells is the biggest factor in the cost of your rebuild. We use PANASONIC, SANYO, SAFT and GP cells in our rebuilds. From the beginning, we have never comprimised quality of cells we use...it is not worth it!! If the price you are being quoted by someone else is surprisingly low, chances are they are using very cheap quality Chinese made cells that in bulk cost pennies compared to the good quality cells. Like many things, you get what you pay for... this applies to batteries too. But not only that, quality of workmanship, speed of service and warranty, are all factored into the cost of everything we pay for. Your surveying equipment is used by you to earn your living. When this equipment is down, it impacts greatly on your bottom line. We understand this about our customer, having dealt almost exclusively with the surveying industry in our 11 years of service. We quite often work evenings and weekends to get your batteries back to you as soon as possible. Our senior electronics expert has been in the business since 1962 - an amazing 45 years. One of our partners even has a degree in Land Surveying and spent over 10 years working in that industry. In other words, we know how your batteries are used, we know how you should care for your survey batteries, and most of all, we know how to fix them right. Your batteries will be returned to you as close to looking brand new as we can make them. Your batteries will be in and out of our shop within 24 to 48 hours, not 10 days like many other shops promise.
