1) We recommend this option if you have only one battery for the instrument.

2) Sometimes these battery packs go defective and cannot be re-celled. If battery pack is still in working condition and able to charge and power up the unit, it should re-cell without any issues. If not, the pack could be defective. If we cannot get any power from the battery after re-cell, experience has shown that the battery also will not work in the equipment. In this case that battery will be disposed of at our end.
